Arts Award is a range of unique qualifications that supports anyone aged up to 25 to grow as artists and arts leaders, inspiring them to connect with and take part in the wider arts world through taking challenges in an art form - from fashion to digital art, pottery to poetry.  Through progressing through the five levels, young people get to:  Discover the enjoyment of creating and participating in arts activities Experience arts events Develop creative and communication skills that are essential for success in 21st century life Explore the work of artists and craftspeople and gain insights into the professional arts world Gain experience and knowledge to help progress into further education and employment  More information can be found here - https://www.artsaward.org.uk/site/?id=1346 

The Ingestre Offer Arts Award is a non-compulsory part of our curriculum offer for groups staying for a week. We can deliver Discover, Explore and Bronze level Arts Awards in full or specific Units of Silver and Gold by arrangement.  Where groups satisfy all the Terms and Conditions Ingestre Arts agrees to pay for all costs associated with delivering Arts Award Discover.  Arts Award 'Discover' is an introductory award, designed for ages 5 and above, but is open to children and young people aged up to 25. To achieve an Arts Award Discover, children and young people collect evidence in an individual arts log of their experiences of:  Taking part in arts activities Researching artists or craftspeople and their work Sharing their arts discoveries  We welcome applications for work experience from Gold level students.
