Ingestre's Interactive WWI Field Hospital
As well as being an evening elective for visiting groups our WWI Field Hospital is also available for day visits!
Ingestre Hall’s WWI Field Hospital installation celebrates and remembers WWI through the eyes and ears of a ‘model field hospital’. Funded by Heritage Lottery Fund, visual artist Luke Perry, and sound artist Peter Dixon were commissioned to transform one of the rooms in the cellars of Ingestre Hall to reveal a new perspective on WWI through a truly unique and interactive experience.
The installation is a fun, immersive and interactive way for students to learn about one of the most important periods of our history. Creative courses can be delivered in the Hall or the Orangery utilising the WW1 exhibition as a key inspiration and can meet a variety of learning outcomes. If you have a group that may want to visit and have an idea about what you'd like to achive give us a call!
